About Trail Life Troop 412-MN

Trail Life Troop 412-MN exists to provide a Christ-centered program for boys and their families in Rochester and the surrounding communities. Our purpose is to reinforce traditional Christian values, proclaim the supremacy of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and help young men grow into honorable citizens, Godly husbands and Fathers, and capable leaders. In alignment with the Trail Life USA program, we strive to live out the Vision, Mission, Motto, and Oath in all we do.

Within Troop 412-MN, respect for one another, for our country, and for our God is foundational. We emphasize discipline in conduct, language, uniform, and personal responsibility. Our troop is blessed with dedicated Trailmen and committed adult leaders who seek to model Godly living and uphold our motto, "Walk Worthy." Our leadership team brings a wide range of experience, including outdoor skills training, high-adventure preparation, and backgrounds in the BSA program. Many leaders are certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, with others trained in advanced wilderness first aid.

Trail Life USA is more than an outdoor adventure program. While we embrace fun, challenge, and exploration, our deeper goal is to guide young men toward becoming men of God - grounded in Scripture, shaped by Christian principles, and prepared to lead with integrity. Our mission is to create a safe, healthy, and Christ-honoring environment where Trailmen can grow, learn, lead, and walk worthy of the calling God has placed on their lives.

What Matters Most

In Troop 412-MN, the journey matters more than the polish of the final product. What is important to us:

• Not the taste of the food on the campout, but that the boys cooked it.
• Not a flawless flag ceremony, but that the boys organized it.
• Not choosing the "best" patrol leader, but that the boys elect one.
• Not collecting every award, but learning to value the reward of Christ in their lives.
